Blue Planet

Everything mankind consumes is extracted from Nature. We take these resources as endless, not caring about the well being of our planet.

Mankind has upset the balance of the cycle and greatly increased the rate at which carbon is returning to the atmosphere, causing this system to go grossly out of equilibrium.

In burning fossil fuels as an energy source, we are taking stored carbon and putting it back into the atmosphere at a rate that is greater than it is being taken out. This means that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is increasing, and will continue to do so until the difference in these two rates disappears.

One way of doing this would be to plant more trees. During photosynthesis, trees convert carbon dioxide and water into sugar molecules and oxygen through a series of oxidation and reduction reactions. Planting 100 million trees could reduce the amount of carbon by an estimated 18 million tons per year and at the same time save a lot of money on utility bills.

You can plant a tree every month and by doing so; contribute to keep the climate stable and the Earth blue. Be responsible. Help the Nature to keep helping you.
